Haj 2027 Registration Begins
The Haj Committee of India, under the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India, has officially announced the commencement of applications for Haj 2027 (1448 Hijri). Eligible Indian Muslims who wish to perform Haj can now submit their applications through the official Haj Committee website or the HAJ SUVIDHA mobile application.
Pilgrims are advised to carefully read all the guidelines before applying and ensure that all required documents are uploaded in the prescribed format.
Important Dates
- Application Opens: 22 June 2026
- Application Closes: 20 July 2026 (11:59 PM)
- Qurrah (Digital Random Selection): Last week of July 2026
- Advance Payment Deadline: 10 August 2026
- Advance Amount: ₹1,52,300 (for provisionally selected pilgrims)
Applicants selected through the digital random selection process must pay the advance amount on or before the specified deadline. No extension or relaxation will be provided.
Required Documents
Applicants must upload scanned copies (not photographs) of the following documents:
- Machine-readable Indian Passport (Front & Back Pages)
- Issued on or before the application closing date.
- Must be valid until 31 December 2027 or later.
- Passport-size Photograph
- Bank Passbook or Cancelled Cheque
- Valid Address Proof
All documents should be uploaded in the prescribed size and format mentioned in the official guidelines.
Important Advisory
The Haj Committee of India has strongly advised intending pilgrims to apply only after carefully considering their preparedness and commitment to undertake the pilgrimage.
Cancellation of a confirmed Haj seat causes operational difficulties and will attract substantial penalties as per the Haj 2027 Guidelines.
